Structure relating CEC to the PEC

The College Effectiveness Council (CEC) emphasizes planning and effectiveness to integrate continuous improvement and campus-wide representation into all programs and services.

  • Makes planning decisions
  • Makes recommendations to the president, the board of trustees, and the executive council
  • Supports strategic planning initiatives, accreditation, assessment, and program review for continuous improvement
  • Identifies significant initiatives to include in the Quality Enhancement Plan
  • Provides in depth development of action plans for strategic goals of the College
  • Promotes communication and representation across campus and among colleagues

Standing membership of the CEC includes president, vice presidents, deans, directors, coordinators, faculty association president, chairs, and librarian.  Two-year rotating membership as appropriate includes faculty, students, and staff.
